When we're not taking calls and dealing with applicants and clients inquiries, we're dusting off the board games to pass the time. Which one's have you been playing?

  • Self-distancing has meant many of the UK’s 27.8 million households and 19.2 million families will have spent more time playing games.
  • 85 years old this year, Monopoly takes 2 spots in the top 5 Amazon best seller board game list. Back in 1935 the £200 to ‘pass go’ was a significant sum, today that would equate to just over £14,300.
  • For the savvy, Old Kent Road is the only street on the south of the Thames, while Mayfair refers not to a street but a location. Today the average price of a property there is a tad more than £400 at £3 million. Together the four stations on the board deal with nearly 84 million passengers per year.
  • Online gaming on devices and phones is a significant growth area. It is estimated 37.3 million people in the UK play games online, the UK games industry worth £5.7 billion in 2018, up 10% year-on-year.
